Speaking during a church service in Kajiado County, Gachagua praised the youth for their recent civic engagement and urged them to take the next critical step โ registering to vote.
โThe tool of change is the voting card,โ he said.
โWe appeal to young people across the country to register as voters. They have spoken out strongly in recent months, but real change will be achieved at the ballot.โ
Gachagua emphasized that meaningful transformation depends on active participation in the electoral process, adding that young Kenyans should take the lead.
โThe installation of a peopleโs government will be on the ballot. The country is counting on you,โ he said.
โYou have shown courage and determination, but you must take a step further.โ
Switching to Kenyaโs middle class, Gachagua called upon them to take a larger role in deciding the future of the nation, citing that they have historically posted low voter turnout during elections.
โThey cannot stay at home and expect change to come,โ he said.
He attended the church service alongside Wiper party leader Kalonzo Musyoka and DAP-Kenya leader Eugene Wamalwa.
