Gambia coach Jonathan McKinstry has shared his thoughts on their victory over Harambee Stars in Friday’s World Cup qualifiers.

CHECK OUT:

Gambia netted three goals in the first half and secured all three points, thwarting Kenya’s attempt at a comeback.

Despite their big win, Gambia will not qualify for the 2026 World Cup, even if they win their remaining Group F matches. Ivory Coast and Gabon remain the frontrunners in the group.

McKinstry, who previously coached Kenyan giants Gor Mahia, praised Harambee Stars for their hard work but noted that his team could have scored more goals.
