Victims of recent Mwisho wa Lami Fire incident have received donation from the county government of Nakuru.

Nakuru Governor Susan Kihika extended support to seven families whose homes were recently destroyed at Mwisho wa Lami in Mau Narok Ward, Njoro Sub-County, along the Nakuruโ€“Narok border.

The families will receive mattresses, blankets, iron sheets and foodstuffs as part of the countyโ€™s humanitarian intervention.

County Executive Committee Member for Education, ICT, e-Government and Public Communication,ย  Zipporah Wambui who represented the Governor during a harambee in support of the victims, said the aid will be delivered to support the families.

She reiterated the County Governmentโ€™s commitment to stand with residents during times of crisis, noting that the intervention seeks to save lives, restore livelihoods and strengthen community resilience.

The event was also graced by Nakuru Woman Rep Liza Chelule, Area MCA Cyrus Dida, Lare MCA Philip Wanjohi, nominated MCA Ruth Nduta, the Governorโ€™s coordinators, religious leaders and members of the community.
