Tanzanian artist Ibraah has opened up about his relationship with Harmonize following his departure from his record label Konde Gang.
Ibraah clarified that despite parting ways professionally, there is no bad blood between them, adding that he is grateful for Harmonizeโs support.
Speaking in a recent interview, he described Harmonize not only as a mentor but also as a brother who played a vital role in his musical journey.
โHarmonize is my brother na atabaki kuwa brother kwa sababu pia naamini huenda bila yeye singefika hapa nilipofika kwa sababu maisha yana vitu vingi, na ata hivyo vilivyotokea vimetokea tu kwa sababu sisi ni vijana na kila mtu anahitaji kupambania kitu anachoamini kuwa hii ni ndoto yangu na nahitaji kufanikiwa kupitia hichi,โ he said.
The One Night Stand hitmaker acknowledged that the challenges they faced were simply part of the natural growth and pursuit of personal dreams among young people.
He also emphasized that although they have taken different paths, his respect and love for Harmonize remain intact.
โSo he is my brother and I love him so much. Watu waendelee kumsupport kwa sababu ni bro na waendelee kusupport culture,โ he added.
A few weeks ago, Ibraah announced his exit from Konde Gang, stating that he wanted to pursue his career outside of a record label. He also claimed that Harmonize demanded Tsh 1 billion from him to leave the label.
