Philanthropist and influencer Karangu Muraya has broken down while explaining the reasons why he recorded Triza Njeri while in distress.

Karangu revealed that he and Triza, at the time, had frequent disagreements, and his daughter was just two months old.

He revealed that he had a daughter out of wedlock and started supporting her financially at the time.

Triza was against this move, which caused frequent arguments.

Karangu said that he had a neighbour whom he used to confide in, and the man advised him to record the moments.

He admitted that he was the one who recorded the conversation, adding that Triza also has a copy.

The philanthropist was shocked that someone would leak such a private recording.

He said he recorded it because of the battles he has faced, and sometimes feels he might sleep and never wake up, so he wanted people to know he never wronged anyone.
