Kenyan screen queen Kate Actress has once again proved she’s unbothered, speaking candidly about her views on marriage just days after her ex-husband, film director Phil Karanja, introduced his new partner to the world.

Phil added that after speaking to bitter divorcees, he vowed to take a different approach:“I told myself, five years from now I do not want to be this bitter at my ex-wife. I’m not going to channel my anger and blame on her. If you call yourself for a meeting, you realise you messed up somewhere.”

The pair publicly announced their separation in September 2023 with a joint statement, asking for privacy for the sake of their children.

“We came to a conclusion to end our marriage a long while ago and are separated. We sincerely request everyone to honour our wishes for privacy for us and our children,” they said.

Phil later clarified that while their marriage ended, their friendship, co-parenting, and business partnership remained intact.

“Hii ni mambo ya watu wawili but allow us to add you to the group chat kidogo so we can proceed with our lives bila story mob,” he added.
