The Registrar of Companies has issued a notice indicating that 74 firms face deregistration if no objection is raised within three months.
In a Gazette Notice dated September 6, 2025, Deputy Registrar of Companies Hiram Gachugi said the move is in line with Section 897 (3) of the Companies Act.
He stated that the listed firms will be struck off from the Register at the expiry of the three months unless sufficient cause is shown.
โThe Registrar of Companies gives notice that the names of the companies specified hereunder shall be struck off from the Register of Companies at the expiry of three months from the date of publication of this Notice and invites any person to show cause why the companies should not be struck off from the Register of Companies,โ the notice read.

Additional firms named include Makundi Enterprises Limited, Mao Flowers Limited, Maroon Mobi Limited, Mipha Construction Limited, Mitun Security Services Limited, Mkwale Property Holdings Limited, Mobay Healthcare Infrastructure Investment Company Limited, Monument Distillers East Africa Limited, Motards Hub Africa Limited, Nawalinks Limited, and Nawawa Investment Company Limited.
The notice confirmed that unless objections are lodged, all 74 companies will be removed from the Register after the lapse of three months from the publication date.
