Kenyan singer-songwriter Sofiya Nzau continues her global takeover, with her track โ€œYour Love (Antdot Remix)โ€โ€”a collaboration with US artist PLS&TYโ€”officially featured on the EA Sports FC 26 soundtrack.

The move cements her as one of the few African artists whose music will now be heard by millions of gamers across PlayStation, Xbox, PC, and mobile worldwide.

Nzau, whose breakout hit Mwaki propelled her to international fame, revealed that the track has been included in the EA Sports FC 26 soundtrack, which also features global icons like Ed Sheeran, Koffee, Idris Elba, and Tom Grennan.

Gamers eagerly awaiting the titleโ€™s release on Friday, September 26, 2025, will get to hear Nzauโ€™s song as part of the gameโ€™s massive lineup of 91 tracks.

โ€œSo proud to announce that โ€œYour Love (Antdot Remix) is featured on EA Sports FC 26!โ€ Nzau said in an Instagram post.

Adding โ€œSuch an amazing moment for Kenyan music and the culture. Our sound is reaching the world. Thank you to EA Sports FC and everyone who keeps pushing this journey forward.”

This milestone comes hot on the heels of her historic performance at Tomorrowland in Belgium, where Nzau became the first Kenyan artist to grace the festivalโ€™s stage, performing alongside EDM legends like Steve Aoki.

Her European tour also included a sold-out Amsterdam show and a slot at Germanyโ€™s Open Beatz Festival, drawing over 15,000 fans.

Sofiya Nzau, whose full name is Sofiya Wanjiku, was born on February 20, 1993, in Miruri, Murangโ€™a County. Before breaking into the music scene, she made a living in Thika between 2015 and 2020, working as both a street vendor and a housemaid.

Following the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in Kenya, she decided in December 2020 to pursue songwriting full-time, a move she was able to make with the support of her husband, a music producer.

Nzauโ€™s global rise began with the viral hit โ€œMwakiโ€, her collab with Brazilian DJ Zerb, which has racked up over 300 million Spotify streams and made her the first East African artist to surpass 10 million monthly listeners on the platform.

She later followed up withย โ€œWacukaโ€ alongside German producer Avaion, a track now streaming past 60 million plays.

Nzauโ€™s music is written in Kikuyu and fuses elements of electronic dance, house, and progressive house. While the genre leans global, her sound remains deeply Kenyan, weaving in local language and traditional storytelling.

The announcement of her EA Sports FC feature has sparked massive buzz online, with fans hailing it as another major win for Kenyan music.

EAโ€™s iconic soundtrack has long been a launchpad for global artists, and Nzau now joins a star-studded lineup that includes Ed Sheeran, The Cure, and BLACKPINKโ€™s JENNIE. The full playlist is already live on Spotify.

With her music now set to echo in living rooms, arenas, and gaming headsets worldwide, Sofiya Nzau isnโ€™t just representing Kenyaโ€”sheโ€™s rewriting the global map for African artists.ย By securing a spot on the soundtrack, Nzau follows in the footsteps of Kenyan group Matata, whose track Not Today was featured in the FC 24 soundtrack.
