Tragedy has struck in Kiambu Town after a student from Kiambu Township Secondary School was found dead in a suspected suicide case.
According to police reports, the female studentโs body was discovered hanging on a tree at the Fair View Farm in Kiambu on Thursday. Residents in the area alerted authorities after spotting the body, leading to investigations being launched immediately.
The motive behind the suicide remains unknown, with police confirming that no suicide note was found at the scene.
The body was retrieved and moved to the local mortuary pending autopsy and further investigations. Authorities said they are working with the school administration and family members to establish what may have triggered the incident.
