Plans for university were already underway, as Obasi narrated, having performed well in his final secondary examination.
He managed to get a C+ in the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) national examination.

Unfortunately, his father would not live long enough to see him join Machakos University, where he has recently been admitted.
Obasi’s 43-year-old father passed away in the hospital while receiving treatment after being sick for two months.
He was buried on Thursday, September 11, in a heartbreaking ceremony attended by friends and family.
