Manchester United is reportedly considering an experienced gaffer as a potential successor to Ruben Amorim, should their negative results persist, according to BBC Sport.
Manchester United finds itself in yet another crisis, a short time after the last, following their 3-1 defeat to Brentford on September 27th.
Despite Ruben Amorim’s previous statements that he is not concerned about losing his position, recent reports from England suggest the likelihood of such a scenario is increasing.

According to BBC Sport, United is considering replacing the Portuguese manager with Graham Potter if their poor run of results continues. It’s worth noting that Potter was recently dismissed by West Ham.
Former Wales midfielder Ashley Williams told BBC Final Score: he doesnโt want to suggest a managerial change outright, but questioned how much longer things can continue.
“It seems to be every week that we’re talking about it,” he said.
“I’m a fan of managers who have a style and stick to it. That isn’t working. You have to adapt. I don’t see where Manchester United go with this unless they change manager.”
Former England striker Alan Shearer told BBC Match of the Day that Ruben Amorim is under “massive pressure.”
“I think the hierarchy have made so many errors since coming to the club, they can’t be seen to have made another in appointing this manager. I think he is very fortunate.”
Ex-Arsenal defender Martin Keown was equally critical, adding: “They don’t look good enough. You then look at it and he only has a win percentage 1% more than Graham Potter, who has been sacked. How is he still in the job?
“If he was 12 months after Ferguson, this would have been done weeks ago.”
United have collected 34 points from Amorim’s 33 league games in charge and have still to win successive matches.
