Man United finished 15th last season, but fans are optimistic about the 2025/26 campaign following the signings of Bryan Mbeumo, Matheus Cunha, and Benjamin Sesko.

The Red Devils have struggled to compete for the Premier League and Champions League titles after years of inconsistent performances.

The Portuguese coach faced criticism towards the end of last season but has received support in the transfer market. However, things could quickly take a turn for the worse if results don’t follow.

Cunha, Mbeumo, and Sesko scored 48 league goals last season, while Man United scored 44 in the Premier League. An improvement in attack is expected next campaign.

Opta supercomputer predicted that Man United will finish 12th next season. They also gave the 13-time Premier League winners a 0.6% chance to win it.

Rashford is set to play his first season away from Man United as a senior footballer. The Englishman last featured for his boyhood club in December and spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.

He stated that the club has been in a state of transition for years, and nothing seems to be changing.

Ruben Amorim dropped the 27-year-old winger in mid-December and never featured for his boyhood club again.

The former Sporting CP boss, who was brought in in November, said he and Rashford didn’t see football the same way.

After he was dropped, Rashford expressed his desire to leave the club. he will spend the 2025/26 season at Barcelona.
