Tanzanian artist Mbwana Yusuf Kilungi, popularly known as Mbosso has taken a moment to publicly appreciate the unwavering support heโs received from Kenyans.
In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram, Mbosso, whose music has consistently found a home in Kenyan playlists, weddings, TikToks, and daily life, expressed deep gratitude to his Kenyan audience.
This comes just as new YouTube data shows that Kenya accounts for over 102 million views of his content, compared to 47 million from Tanzania.
โKenya, upendo wenu kwangu haujawahi kushuka,โ Mbosso wrote.โNaheshimu na nathamini huu upendo.โ
One of his biggest hits, โPawaโ, has become a viral favorite in Kenya, with fans using it as the soundtrack to love stories, romantic reels, and celebration videos.
The track alone has pulled in over 30 million views, much of it fueled by Kenyan engagement.
โMmekuwa sehemu kubwa sana ya kusupport mziki wangu,โ he continued.โNaomba msiwache kunisupport.โ
The singer, known for his emotional Swahili ballads and Wasafi charm, ended his message with heartfelt blessings:
โAsanteni sana na Mungu awabariki.โ
While artists often come and go in the digital age, Mbossoโs bond with Kenya appears stronger than ever, built not just on streaming stats, but on mutual love and shared soundtracks of life.
