Forex trader and TikToker Raymond Omosa, widely known as Kenyan Prince, has responded to a viral video showing a heated argument between him and a traffic police officer. The clip, which has sparked widespread criticism, shows Prince in his Audi being confronted by the officer, who accused him of hitting another vehicle.
In the video, the situation quickly escalated when Prince refused to get out of his car and told the officer not to stop him. He was also heard saying the officer was not his age, a comment that led to a public backlash, with many viewers calling him arrogant and disrespectful of authority.
Hours after the video went viral, Prince took to Instagram to defend his actions. He argued that his critics don’t understand how some traffic officers operate, claiming that they often try to extort money from drivers.
“Most of you do not know how police officers can take advantage of you,” he said in a video. He claimed that many of his critics don’t own cars and therefore can’t understand the harassment motorists face.
Prince stated that his strong reaction was a way of standing up for his rights and that he won’t be intimidated like an “Uber driver.” He further claimed his “connections are well built in this country” and that officers should know who to harass.
“I am not someone to be harassed foolishly,” he said.
He also lashed out at those criticizing him online, calling them “idiots who fail to respect yourselves, and that is why you fail terribly in life.” According to Prince, his words weren’t about pride but about asserting his rights and making sure officers understand their limitations.
