The Michael Olunga Football Academy (MOFA) has entered into a new partnership with Maseno School, further cementing its role in nurturing young football talent across the country.
The agreement was formalized during a visit by MOFA Director of Sports and Technical Director, Aol Omondi, who underscored the academyโs commitment to balancing sports excellence with academic growth.
โThis collaboration is about giving young players the tools, mentorship, and opportunities they need to excel both on the field and in the classroom,โ said Omondi.
Maseno School Chief Principal Peter Otieno welcomed the move, noting that his passion for both sports and academics aligns with MOFAโs mission. He said the partnership would provide students with an avenue to showcase their talents while remaining focused on their studies.
Maseno School, widely regarded as one of the countryโs giants in both sports and academics, now joins a growing list of institutions working with MOFA, including St. Maryโs Yala, Kisumu Day, Ringa Boys, St. Josephโs Kitale, St. Josephโs Rapogi, and Magina Girls.
Through these collaborations, MOFA provides mentorship, modern training equipment, and scholarships aimed at supporting holistic student-athlete development.
Founded by Harambee Stars captain Michael Olunga, the academy has positioned itself as a driving force in grassroots football, with its school partnerships seen as a pipeline for nurturing disciplined and skilled players for the future.
