Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria claims that he has received threats from what he termed as the “deep state.” 

Kuria in a Twitter post on Saturday alleged that the deep state was sending death threats to him through a blogger named Weston Wanjohi over his criticism on President Kenyatta.

He claimed that the same deep state was responsible for the killing of politician Josiah Mwangi Kariuki (JM Kariuki) and IEBC ICT Director Christopher Msando

“Deep state using Harambee House blogger Weston Wanjohi to threaten me with assassination JM Kariuki style. And DCI will still not act on this. Like father like son,” Kuria wrote.

“Msando was killed by the same system that killed JM.”

JM was found dead in March 1975 days after he went missing in Nairobi. His burnt body was found dumped beside the Lake Magadi Road.

On the other hand, Msando was found dead in Muguga Forest in Kikuyu, Kiambu County on July 31st, 2017, a day after he was abducted in Nairobi by unknown people. 

His mutilated body was dumped alongside that of 21-year-old Carol Ngumbu, with postmortem indicating he was strangled to death.
