Honoring Excellence: The Annual Alumni Awards

In yet another bold stride, the University recently launched its flagship initiative: the Annual Alumni Awards, aimed at recognizing outstanding alumni making exceptional contributions in their fields and communities.

With a top prize of up to USD 50,000 (Ksh6.4 million), the awards underscore the University’s commitment to celebrating success, amplifying impact, and inspiring the next generation of changemakers. Categories for the awards include:

To be eligible, nominees must be a graduate of MKU, proven and sustained contributions in chosen area of impact and exhibit integrity, professionalism, and values consistent with the University’s mission.
