Njoro Member of Parliament Charity Kathambi has called for concerted effort in addressing challenges of insecurity across the Constituency.
Speaking during a prayer and security meeting for residents of Njoro, Piave, Sunrise and Kenyatta, Kathambi stated that there are a few individuals who are out to mess security in some parts of Njoro Constituency.
In her statement, Kathambi called on Constituents to work closely security team in ensuring a secure community.
โWe have recently seen spike in insecurity. People have fallen victim to attacks by unknown assailants. As leaders and security team, we will not condone this type of behavior against fellow constituents,โ stated Kathambi.
The Lawmaker added that the culprits will be dealt with appropriately in accordance with the law.
The meeting was also attended by Deputy County Commissioner (DCC) Njoro, OCPD, OCS, and Nakuru county office.
Dr Peter Mbae who has a background in matters conflict Resolution, speaking during the meeting reiterated that peace must prevail for development to be realize.
According to Mbae, criminals must be dealt with as criminals.
Kamau Kuria from Governor Susan Kihikaโs office announced that the County government will erect Floodlights within the stretches from Kenyatta to Piave and to sunrise centre.
This, even as MP Kathambi and security team proudly announced that businesses at Tipis and Mwisho wa Lami have resumed to normalcy after serious interventions and security meetings.
