The Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi and President William Rutoโs aide Farouk Kibet presided over a widow fundraiser at Bulupi Primary School grounds in West Kabras Ward of Malava subcounty where millions of shillings were raised to support their businesses.
The duo who were joined by other leaders among them Members of Parliament drawn from across the country called on the electorate to make a wise decision and vote in a government aligned candidate for continuity of development programs started by the late MP Malulu Injendi who died early this year after a short illness.
Injendi was elected on the Amani National Congress party that has since been folded to join the ruling United Democratic Alliance party.
The area has had a soft spot for government in place, and all those elected have worked closely with the regime, that is.
The people of Malava have assured the government team that they will hand them victory on 27th November 2025.
More than five candidates had declared interest for the United Democratic Alliance until when former Bungoma High School principal Enock Andanje collapsed at the function before being rushed to hospital where he was declared dead on arrival.
Now four candidates will battle out on nominations that is set to be held on 20th September 2025 who are Simon Kangwana, Leonard Shimaka, Rhyan Injendi who is the son to the late mp and West Kabras member of county assembly David Ndakwa.
