This tournament served as a lively start to the polo season, with two more major events already scheduled for later this year.

Tusker Malt has continued its partnership with the tournament for a fifth year, actively drawing new enthusiasts to the sport by redefining how fans interact with polo. 

The sponsorship is described as a “deliberate move to combine the sport with the finest beer experience” that celebrates creativity. 

At the Tusker Malt stand, the brand featured mounted craft rooms that showcased work from local creatives while also providing a glimpse into the beer’s brewing process. 

This initiative aims to highlight the artistry behind the beer and support artistic talent.

Beyond the sporting action, the event was a major highlight on Nairobi’s social calendar, with attendees making a strong fashion statement. 

On both days of the tournament, spectators were dressed in a variety of chic and elegant outfits, from tailored jumpsuits and flowing sun dresses to strapped sandals and heels, taking full advantage of the sunny weather. 

The event underscored how polo tournaments are evolving into a cultural experience that goes beyond the game itself.

The Kenya Open 6-Goal tournament served as a curtain-raiser for a series of upcoming polo events. 

The next competition on the calendar is the Kenya Open 10-Goal, scheduled to take place from September 19 to September 21. 

This event promises higher stakes and more teams. 

Following a brief break, attention will shift to the Lagos Incoming Tour International, set to run from October 3 to October 5. 

This international tournament will feature top professionals and teams from across Africa and beyond, all competing for glory in Kenya.
