The woman, who goes by the username Strapola on TikTok, said she hired a Ugandan househelp referred to her by a former employee.

Jane (not her real name) was not as active as other househelps Strapola had previously employed. She recalled having to teach her basic household tasks, which was draining, and eventually decided to dismiss her.

True to her word, Jane improved in her duties, and life went smoothly for a while—until Strapola noticed the househelp was not fond of her son.

The mother of two said she asked Jane if everything was fine, and Jane complained that the boy was disrespectful and often talked back.

To Strapola, this was not a big issue, as she knew her son could be a bit troublesome, but she spoke to him and he promised to behave.

The next day, Jane shared a bizarre account—saying she had given a strange man bananas and water, after which he allegedly turned into a snake.

According to Strapola, she initially dismissed this as superstition or fear.

Despite brushing off the incident, Jane insisted the man transformed into a snake after eating and claimed she had received instructions from a ‘brown lady’ who appeared in her room, ordering her to poison the family.

The mother of two grew increasingly concerned and asked Jane if she had experienced such things before. Jane said it began when she was in secondary school, when the same mysterious woman appeared in her dreams, instructing her to kill six students.

After Jane travelled back to Uganda, the mother of two reviewed footage from her home CCTV. She saw Jane serving bananas and water to a strange man, just as she had described, but parts of the footage were inexplicably missing.

Strapola concluded that Jane might have been struggling with mental health issues or was entangled in spiritual matters that seemed to pull her back to her village.
