Ohangla singer Onyi Jalamo, known for the hit song NASA Tibim, has joined Rigathi Gachagua’s supporters at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport to welcome him back home.

The former deputy president left Kenya for the US on July 9, 2025, and while there, he held various meetings with the diaspora community.
Onyi has composed a song for Gachagua and has since shifted his allegiance from Raila Odinga to Gachagua.
The new song, which is a remix of his NASA Tibim, is meant to welcome Gachagua back to Kenya.

In the song, Onyi praised Gachagua as a truthful man ready to lead a liberation in the country.
.ke caught up with him, and Onyi explained he has a right to compose a song for any Kenyan.
He revealed he is working on a new song titled Reset, which will heavily praise Gachagua and vilify those in the government.
Onyi expressed confidence that Gachagua has all it takes to lead the country and argued that if elections were to be held today, he would defeat President William Ruto.

Onyi Jalamo rose to fame in 2017 with his NASA Tibim song. The song was composed for Raila, who was then the flagbearer of the National Super Alliance in the 2017 general election.
Onyi performed the song in several political rallies and branded himself as Raila’s ardent supporter.
