Ngโ€™iya Girls High School is in mourning following the death of their beloved Biology and Chemistry teacher, Mr. Zachary Omollo โ€” fondly known by students as Grandpa.

His passing has left a deep void, with students and colleagues remembering him not only as an educator but also as a mentor, coach, and father figure.

According to the Ngโ€™iya Girls fraternity, Mr Omollo was family, who will be remembered as a pillar of dedication, shaping both academic and extracurricular life at the school.

The students described him as a man of quiet strength, one who commanded respect not through many words, but through presence and action.

They recalled how he would often stand up for them in matches, unafraid to call out referees when he felt the team was being treated unfairly.

The grieving student added that they will never forget how he would literally roar at the referees who tried to sideline them.
