Legendary Kenyan musician Mustafa recently made a public proposal to fellow musician and ex-girlfriend Notiflow to โ€˜take him backโ€™after years of separation.

The musician, who regained his popularity after seeking financial help, recently embarked on music with his ex-girlfriend.

In a recent interview with Oga Obinna, Mustafa narrated his struggles after fame, where he worked at โ€mjengoโ€.

This he did after going broke despite earning millions during his prime days. Mustafa splashed his millions on women and partying and ended up bankrupt. However, philanthropic Kenyans contributed to get him back on his feet.

In the interview, Mustafa goes down on his knees with a ring to propose to Notiflow, who looked surprised stating that it could be a prank.

โ€Ukona kila kitu yangu. Ukinichukua nitakua legend kabisa,โ€ Mustafa started off.

Mustafa was faced by rejection as Notiflow explained that she still loves him but as a friend.

She maintained that she was already seeing someone and that Mustafaโ€™s advances came at the wrong time.

โ€Iโ€™m sorry, I love uyou but as a friendโ€, Notiflow stated

Mustafa continued to question Notiflow on why she couldnโ€™t take him back, citing, ama ni juu nilifanya mjengo? (is it because I was a construction worker?)

The Live TV proposal has expedited mixed reactions on social media with most people stating that it is a clout chasing stunt for their recent music together dubbed โ€˜katikaโ€™.
