Kenyaโs celebrated rapper Nyamari Ongegu, popularly known as Nyashinski, has signed a landmark recording deal with global music powerhouse Sony Music, marking a defining moment in his career.
The announcement was made on Sony Musicโs official Instagram page on Thursday, August 14, 2025, alongside the release of his new single Tai Chi, which sets the stage for upcoming projects under the Sony Music Africa banner.

Sony Music Africaโs managing director, Sean Watson, described the deal as a milestone for the region.
