Nairobi, Kenya โ August 14, 2025 โ The Old School R&B Brunch (OSR), one of the worldโs fastest-growing entertainment brands, is set to light up Kenya this week. The four-day event will run in Nairobi and Mombasa, bringing music, culture, and connection.
The event starts today at Mass House, Nairobi. It will conclude with a grand finale at Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort in Mombasa. Fans can expect the unique OSR vibe that has wowed audiences worldwide.
โFrom the very beginning, Old School R&B Brunch was about more than music. It was about creating a space where people could connect, be themselves, and celebrate a culture that shaped us. Bringing that energy to Kenya feels like coming home. We cannot wait to share the experience with Nairobi and Mombasa,โ said Reiss, Co-Founder of OSR.
OSR was founded in London six years ago by childhood friends Reiss, Olu, and Paul. They blended Nigerian heritage with soulful music experiences. Even during the COVID-19 pandemic, OSR hosted weekly live DJ sessions on Instagram. These shows kept audiences connected and fuelled global growth.
From London to Lagos and New York to Dubai, the brand has turned into a global cultural movement. It began in 2019 with a single brunch for 250 guests. Today, it operates in over 45 cities across 15 countries. London events regularly attract more than 800 attendees.
The company now runs professional recording studios and a Restaurant & Bar. This expansion has cemented its reputation as a global entertainment powerhouse.
Kenya is now part of OSRโs worldwide tour. The organisers promise nostalgia, high energy, and community. Here is the full Kenyan line-up:
Thursday, August 14, 5pm โ 9pm: The Business of Music Summit at Sarova Panafric โ An industry gathering with artists, tastemakers, and executives discussing Africaโs music future.
Friday, August 15, 6pm โ 9pm: OSR Padel Party โ Sport, socialising, and classic R&B hits.
