Nairobi-based photographer and content creator Faustine Babatalisha, popularly known as Baba Talisha, has spoken out strongly against online bullies targeting children.

In a heartfelt Instagram post featuring a photo of his young daughter Talisha in a white dress, the creative expressed deep disappointment at adults who, in his words, โ€œfind comfort in trolling innocent kids online.โ€

Baba Talisha noted that the problem extends far beyond his own family, saying he has witnessed similar cruelty directed at other children whose parents share their lives online.

โ€œTo online bulliesโ€”it breaks my heart to see grown people find comfort in trolling innocent kids. Iโ€™ve seen it happen not just to my child, but to many others,โ€ he wrote.

He urged adults to pause before typing hurtful comments, asking them to reflect on how they would feel if the same words were directed at their own children.

โ€œChildren are pure souls who deserve love, protection, and kindnessโ€”not cruelty from adults hiding behind screens. Before you type hurtful words, pause and think: would you want your own child to be spoken to that way?โ€

The content creator further warned about the long-term damage caused by online insults, reminding his followers that โ€œthe scars of words can last longer than we think.โ€

โ€œLetโ€™s learn to build children up instead of tearing them down,โ€ he added.

Baba Talisha closed his message with a sober reflection, urging people to embrace kindness:

โ€œWhat many forget is that life is unpredictable. No one knows what tomorrow holds for them, their children, or their loved ones.โ€

His plea has sparked conversations online, with many applauding his courage in standing up for childrenโ€™s dignity in the digital age.
