The president’s wife had a moment to address guests, where she spoke about the importance of clean cooking as she called for an urgent, decisive action to close Africaโ€™s US$4 billion annual financing gap for clean cooking.

While addressing the guests, Rachel warned that nearly one billion people in sub-Saharan Africa still relied on firewood and charcoal, exposing families to toxic smoke that claims over 800,000 lives annually, including 200,000 children under the age of five.

Her outfit stole the show, making her stand out among the people she was talking to.

She had a beige garment which resembled a traditional African kaftan, crafted with vibrant African print fabric.

Such styles are especially popular in West and Central Africa, where bold, symbolic patterns are a hallmark of fashion.

This particular piece stood out with its intricate floral motifs, a common yet elegant feature in many African-inspired designs.

She also paired the look with low, closed white heels that could be visible at the front tip.
