After what became a hard-fought fight that will also stand as a precedent for Kenyan fathers, kenyan influencer, Rammzy (Ramadhan Oluoch) has won joint custody of his two sons. This follows a gruelling legal battle with his ex-wife, Shiko Nguru who is herself a social media influencer as well as marketing manager and wife to radio personality, Mike Mondo.

Taking to his social media account, he celebrated the win with a heartfelt message that read:

I could have been a provider with no care, presence nor emotional availability but I chose to be a fighter for them and today I have been granted joint legal and physical custody by the Children’s Court.

I don’t know if I should write a children’s book for them or a man’s book for my bros going after father time. I had written a long letter about my ordeal but I have to be humble in this moment, it’s more about the kids than me.

Thank you to my family, friends, supporters and everyone who never doubted my intentions nor character and most importantly to my lawyer (and occasional therapist 😂) during the entire case – Mr. Katee.

Lastly, thank you God for allowing me to be the farmer that tends to my own garden after planting the seeds. Nobody’s shadow can block the sun from shining on your children. 🙏🏾
