A group of 25 talented young footballers from Kenya is getting an amazing opportunity to train in Spain.ย
These players, who were selected from the Safaricom Chapa Dimba tournament, are heading to Huesca for one week.ย

While 25 players will participate in the Spain trip, the original 32-player All-Star squad has already produced notable successes.ย
Several players, including Austin Odongo, Emily Moranga, and Khamis Nyale, have been called up to top national and international clubs, highlighting the tournamentโs effectiveness as a talent pipeline.ย
Dr. Peter Ndegwa, CEO of Safaricom PLC, expressed immense pride in this achievement, stating that the program is about โempowering our youth, transforming their lives, and showcasing Kenyan football talent to the world.โ
The week-long camp in Spain will feature a packed schedule of activities.ย
The young footballers will get to test their abilities against the Huesca Youth Academy, participate in expert-led masterclasses with professional players, and train at the state-of-the-art facilities of the Base Aragonesa de Fรบtbol.ย
The players will also attend a live Segunda Division match between SD Huesca and Mรกlaga CF, providing them with a firsthand look at professional football.ย
Beyond the pitch, the team will engage in cultural experiences, including sightseeing and city tours.ย
The All-Star team will be captained by Stanley Waswa and Manda Sunira Were.ย
The team will also be accompanied by coaches Chrispine Odindo and Evans Oketch, along with representatives from the Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
