Detectives from Kasarani Police Station have detained six suspects following the mysterious death of Victor Mwangi on Lumumba Drive, Roysambu, early Sunday morning.

Preliminary forensic investigations revealed that Victor suffered blunt force trauma with multiple injuries across his body before his death. A postmortem at Nairobi Funeral Home later confirmed the cause of death as blunt force trauma, with severe injuries to his chest, face, and legs.

Victor was last spotted on the fourth floor of the building in the company of several women, before being discovered motionless on the ground floor. Investigators believe he either fell or was pushed from the upper floor while in the company of a group of youth.

Surveillance footage reviewed by police shows several young women entering and exiting the apartment complex repeatedly. Shortly after, an Uber vehicle is seen arriving at the premises and later leaving.

The Uber was later traced to Jesse Kay Hospital, where Victor was admitted at around 3:47 a.m. CCTV captured a young man rushing into the hospital reception with blood-stained clothing, accompanied by two others, including the Uber driver.

Police reports describe the man as a โ€œgood Samaritan,โ€ though CCTV showed he appeared uneasy while at the hospital. Hospital staff contacted authorities after confirming Victorโ€™s death.

The six suspects are currently being held as investigations continue. Detectives are pursuing multiple leads to determine whether Victorโ€™s death was accidental or a result of foul play.

Authorities have urged witnesses with information to come forward as they work to piece together the final hours of Victorโ€™s life.
