St. Josephโ€™s Boys High School football head coach Amos Jumaย has backed striker Instine Simuyu to blossom into a football star after shining in this year’s School Games.

Simiyu was instrumental in helping St. Josephโ€™s win this year’s national football title, beating Musingu High School in the finals played in Kakamega.

Juma believes Simiyu has a bright future, if he remains consistent.

โ€œHe is a disciplined player works very hard in training and during matches andย ย he is hungry to keep on improving every day he is a joy to watch and has a great future in the game,โ€ said Juma.

Simiyuย has already attracted interest in the US and Europe, according to coach Juma.

โ€œYes he has received offer from both local and international team, teams in Europe and United States are interested in signing him so letโ€™s wait and see what the future has for him after he clears high school,โ€ added Juma.

In the meantime, Juma is already building another squad for next year, as eightย first teamย players will be clearing their Secondary School Education this year.

โ€œWe are not worried about them leaving.ย  We haveย a very good back up for them plus we will try recruit more quality player for us to continue being competitive,โ€ stated the head coach.
