Gachagua has since publicly vowed to challenge Ruto in the upcoming elections, setting the stage for a heated 2027 race.

Still, as in politics, loyalties are often divided, and Ruto has not lost all his supporters.

A now-viral TikTok video has stirred conversation online after a creator going by @Omarietenah1 passionately declared her unwavering support for the president ahead of the 2027 elections.

In the emotional video, she filmed herself sobbing uncontrollably while praying for Ruto’s re-election.

Through tears, she repeatedly chanted:

The phrase Kumi bila break (ten years without a break) highlighted her call for Ruto to secure a second consecutive term in office.

The TikTokers comments came just weeks after President Ruto publicly endorsed himself for re-election.

Speaking at State House on August 4, he boldly declared himself the best president Kenya has had since independence.

Ruto highlighted his nearly three decades in politics, 15 years as a Member of Parliament, and his outstanding academic qualifications, insisting that his experience and age make him the ideal candidate to take Kenya forward.
