At the top of the list was Safaricom, holding the largest slice of the pie with 678,118 subscriptions, representing approximately 36.5 percent of the fixed internet market. This marked solid growth from 621,149 subscriptions in the previous quarter.

Following in second place was Jamii Telecommunications (Faiba), with 418,309 subscribers, accounting for 22.5 percent of the market.

The battle for third and fourth positions was close. Notably, Poa Internet posted the fastest growth of the major providers, adding 23,461 new users in the quarter.

The fifth most used service was Vilcom Network, which saw its subscriber base grow notably to 71,693 by the end of Q1, giving it a 3.9 percent market share.
