Gospel singer Triza Njeri has sent social media into a frenzy after sharing a video of herself in a stunning white wedding gown, leaving fans questioning whether she could be stepping into a new chapter of her love life.

The singer, popularly known as Mamake Muraya, has had a tumultuous year following her public split from husband Karangu Muraya. But recent posts suggest she may be ready to move on.

The rumours first ignited when Triza jokingly urged her followers to “make vitenges” — a statement many took as a playful hint of a new relationship. She later added fuel to the fire with a cheeky response to a blogger who had expressed interest in her.

In her latest TikTok clip, Triza appeared radiant in a bridal gown, posing beside a bouquet of red roses. Though she offered no explanation, the imagery carried unmistakable wedding vibes. During a subsequent live session, she teased her followers, asking:“Harusi tunayo hatuna? Bwana harusi aamshe bibi harusi chini” (Do we have a wedding or not? The groom should help the bride stand).

The bridal buzz comes just as fresh audio surfaced online, allegedly capturing Triza confronting her estranged husband, Karangu, over his alleged relationship with his second wife, Carol Kim.

In the recording, Triza is heard breathing heavily while threatening to walk out of her marriage, as Karangu continued recording. She later accused Carol of leaking the clips to bloggers, insisting the audios were old and had even circulated among pastors.

In a now-deleted Facebook post, Triza wrote:“She has claimed to have my recordings insulting her husband… these recordings are from last year. Even some pastors have them, and all along I didn’t know what they were talking about.”

Carol, meanwhile, appeared unbothered. She shared a photo of traditional Kikuyu food, mukimo, captioned: “It’s been a minute, come with avocado and stew.”
