Two people, including a child, have been confirmed dead after a truck lost its brakes and rammed into an ENA Coach bus along the Mai Mahiu-Narok Highway on Saturday night.
In a statement on Sunday, the company said the bus had departed Nairobi at about 8PM with 47 passengers and three crew members on board.
The crash occurred while the bus was descending the Escarpment near the historic Catholic Church after aย truck, which had reportedly lost its brakes, struck two vehicles before hitting the bus from behind, causing it to veer off the road and overturn.
The confirmed that a woman and a minor died on the spot, while several other passengers sustained injuries.

Ena Coach revealed that rescue teams from St. Johnโs Ambulance, police, and members of the public responded swiftly, transporting the injured to nearby hospitals.
Most of the injured have since been treated and discharged.
