African Nations Championships co-hosts Uganda Cranes will face South Africa in their last Group C match today at the Mandela National Stadium, aiming to emulate their two co-hosts, Kenya and Tanzania, and qualify for the quarter-finals.

Uganda, who tops the group on 6 points, 1 point ahead of 2nd-placed Algeria and South Africa, must avoid a defeat to book their slot in the quarter-finals.

The match will kick off at 8pm and will be played concurrently alongside the Algeria vs Niger match at the Nyayo stadium.

Both Niger and Algeria, who arrived in Kenya on Sunday afternoon from Kampala, held their 1st training sessions in Nairobi on Sunday evening, with Niger training in Kasarani while Algeria trained at the Police Sacco stadium.
