Vera Sidika, the prominent socialite and entrepreneur, has been making headlines with her recent statements about her co-parenting relationship with her baby daddy, musician Brown Mauzo. In a surprising turn of events, Vera has publicly claimed that she doesnโt need financial support from him, even while she allows him to regularly visit their two children.
In her Insta stories, Vera opened up about her single motherhood journey, emphasizing that she is financially independent and fully capable of providing for her children without any assistance from their father. She stated that her wealth and business ventures are more than enough to cover all her childrenโs needs.
She however, maintained that she allows her baby daddy to visit their children often as she wished to have a father figure while growing up.
Despite her firm stance on financial independence, Vera has clarified that she doesnโt deny Mauzo the opportunity to be a part of his childrenโs lives. She explained that she believes in the importance of a father-figure for her children, and as such, she is willing to let him visit.
This arrangement has sparked a debate online, with many Kenyans questioning the true meaning of co-parenting. The public has been divided, with some people applauding Veraโs maturity and commitment to her children, while others have been critical, arguing that a father should always contribute financially to his childrenโs upbringing.
