Nairobi, Kenya – August 16, 2025 — First Daughter Charlene Ruto has sparked mixed reactions online after a video of her dancing at an International Youth Day event went viral.

The event, held on Monday, August 12, 2025, brought together young people to celebrate the annual global observance dedicated to the role of youth in shaping a better future.

This year’s theme, “Local Youth Actions for the SDGs and Beyond,” highlighted the importance of grassroots initiatives and reinforced the message that real transformation begins within local communities.
