The continued presence of President William Ruto aide Faruk Kibet in Malava constituency and his generosity and philanthropic actions cannot be wished away in the area politics and he will have a say on who becomes the area leader in the coming by-election slated for November 27, 2025.
Kibet, who has been frequent visitor since the days of the late Orange Democratic Movement party aspirant Musavini in the year 2007, has made inroads and us in the hearts of many people.
He then became a friend of the late housing minister, Soita Shitanda, and by the time he died in the year 2016, he had introduced him to his political team that has endeared him fully up to date.
Kibet then became a friend of the late Malulu Injendi, with whom they worked together being hosted many times in the area.
Since his demise,he has walked with the people of Malava, holding empowerment fund drives for many self-help groups among them women,youth, widows, and Bodaboda groups.
Recently, he fundraised for the personโs living with disability and he is set for another major drive in Manda/Shivanga on 18th October 2025 for Widows.
Kibet has covered all the seven wards of the constituency.
Most group members have set up businesses with the cash and are able to provide for their families.
He has also mastered the local Kabras dialect, where he speaks directly to the ears of the people, and now they regard him as one of their own.
